ArcheAge Chronicles Servers
ArcheAge Chronicles selects your region automatically, adds Brazil and Singapore servers for Early Access, and splits each zone into channels of around 100 players. No server list or character-transfer policy has been published.
Server information is thin because XLGAMES has not published a full launch list. What the producer letter does confirm is the shape of the system: region-based servers, automatic assignment and zone channels that keep crowds manageable.
Region selection
The game selects your region automatically based on your location or account settings. XLGAMES has not published a manual region selector or a transfer option.
For Early Access, the company added Brazil and Singapore servers alongside the existing NA and EU infrastructure. That is a meaningful addition for players in South America and Southeast Asia, who often face high latency on NA or EU servers.
Channels
Each zone is split into channels with a typical cap of around 100 players. Channels are assigned automatically, and your party stays together.
You can move to a friend's channel, and parties can move to the leader's channel. PvP channels and standard channels exist side by side, and you switch at a Nui Statue with a cooldown.
Channels are not servers. They are instances of the same zone, which is how the game keeps open-world content playable during launch crowding.
Server status
No public server-status page has been announced. The game is not live yet, so there is nothing to check until November 3.
If launch follows the usual pattern, the Steam community and official Discord will be the fastest places to see downtime notices. XLGAMES has already published a black-screen notice and a new-server announcement during the demo period, which suggests it will communicate infrastructure issues through Steam news.
Can you transfer characters?
No character transfer or server-transfer service has been announced. Treat your first server as permanent until XLGAMES says otherwise.
That matters more than usual because region is selected automatically. If you move countries after launch, there is no confirmed way to follow your character.
Oceania and SEA players
The Singapore server is the relevant addition for Southeast Asia. Australia and New Zealand do not have a dedicated OCE server in the published material, so those players will likely connect to Singapore or NA.
Do not trust a "private server" result in search. ArcheAge Chronicles is a buy-to-play XLGAMES game; private servers are not an official option.
What to do on launch day
- Check the official Discord and Steam news for downtime.
- Pick your region carefully; no transfer has been announced.
- Join a standard channel if you want a smooth first hour.
- Move to your party leader's channel if you are grouping.
- Expect queue or channel-full messages during prime time.
