ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access Release Time and What's Included

Status: not started yet

Early Access has not begun. Checked against the official Steam announcement on November 2, 2026 at 11:25 UTC (19:25 Beijing). Steam opens the game on November 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM PST, which is 23:00 UTC and 7:00 AM on November 4 in Beijing. This page will be updated when the servers go live.

ArcheAge Chronicles launches into Steam Early Access on November 3, 2026. The date is no longer a leak or a store placeholder: XLGAMES announced it in an official Steam post, opened pre-orders in the same post, and the store page still lists November 3. That makes this the last window in which the pre-order bonus can be bought.

This page covers the launch time in UTC and the original PST, what the Early Access build includes, what the $29.99 pre-order adds, how to claim the Dawn Pioneer bonus on the right character, and what happens if you miss the window. Details XLGAMES has not published are marked as not announced rather than guessed.

What time Early Access starts

XLGAMES gave the time in Pacific Standard Time, not Pacific Daylight Time. November is PST (UTC-8), so 3:00 PM PST is 23:00 UTC.

Time zone Local launch time
Pacific Standard Time (UTC-8) November 3, 3:00 PM
UTC November 3, 23:00
Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5) November 3, 6:00 PM
Greenwich Mean Time (UTC+0) November 3, 11:00 PM
Central European Time (UTC+1) November 4, 12:00 AM
India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) November 4, 4:30 AM
Beijing / Singapore (UTC+8) November 4, 7:00 AM
Korea / Japan (UTC+9) November 4, 8:00 AM
Australian Eastern Daylight Time (UTC+11) November 4, 10:00 AM

Two caveats matter. First, Steam countdowns are the final authority if XLGAMES moves the unlock by a few minutes. Second, XLGAMES has not announced pre-loading. If pre-load is not offered, the download begins at unlock, so the effective start time for your account depends on your connection.

The release date page tracks the platform situation and the full time table. The short version: only Steam PC has a confirmed date. PS5, Xbox and Epic Games Store listings are wishlist-only, with no Early Access date announced.

What Early Access includes

Early Access is a content-complete slice, not a demo. XLGAMES describes three regions of Auroria, more than 60 areas and over 1,000 exploration and collection points. The three named regions are Diamond Shores, Gylden Ruins and Astron Plains.

The launch feature set:

  • Three regions with their own story chains, field bosses and dungeons
  • 60+ areas and 1,000+ exploration and collection points
  • Four classes: Warrior, Ranger, Mage and Berserker
  • Eight weapons, two per class at launch, each with a separate trait tree
  • Dungeons for solo play or parties of up to four
  • Field bosses with gear, accessories and crafting materials
  • Hersander's Tower and the Hereafter Challenge
  • Housing, farming, gathering, crafting and trade
  • PvP channels, with a monster EXP bonus that does not apply on standard channels
  • Controller support alongside keyboard and mouse

That is enough content to treat the purchase as a full leveling game. It is not the finished 1.0 release, and the page on the Auroria map breaks down what each region contains.

What is not included

The level cap has not been published. Neither has a raid tier, a ranked PvP ladder or guild trade-post warfare. Structured trade-run PvP was described as early planning, not a launch feature.

Class options are also incomplete. Warrior and Berserker are male-only at launch; Mage and Ranger are female-only. XLGAMES has confirmed that removing these locks is post-launch work. Each class also launches with two of its three planned weapons; the third weapon arrives in a later update, with dates not fully published.

Treat the launch build as a long beta with a box price. Balance changes are already scheduled, and the first patch is expected to move skills and stats that players will have practiced on.

Price and the pre-order bonus

The Steam price is $29.99 in the US store at the time of writing. Regional pricing varies. It is buy-to-play: no subscription has been announced. Cash-shop details and monetization beyond the box price have not been published in text form.

Pre-ordering buys the base game plus the Dawn Pioneer bonus. Steam lists the package item as the Dawn Pioneer Outfit Chest; the costume inside is the Dawnbreaker Vanguard outfit. XLGAMES' announcement calls the bonus the Dawn Pioneer Set. They are the same offer under two names, not two separate rewards.

What the official terms say:

  • Each pre-order includes one Dawn Pioneer set for a single class of your choice.
  • The bonus is exclusive to pre-orders and is not described as a later store item.
  • It can be claimed in-game once Early Access launches.
  • Only the character used to claim it receives the Dawnbreaker Vanguard outfit.
  • The claim is one-time and the item cannot be transferred to another character.

The class restriction is the part buyers underestimate. If you claim on a character you later abandon, the outfit stays with that character.

How to claim the pre-order bonus

The store page gives the exact in-game steps:

  1. Install the game and create the character you intend to keep.
  2. Enter the main menu with that character.
  3. Hold the [Claim Reward] button in the upper-right corner, or hold the N key.
  4. Receive the Dawn Pioneer Outfit Chest and open it from your Inventory.
  5. Equip the Dawnbreaker Vanguard outfit from the costume slot.

Do not rush step one. The claim is bound to the first character that uses it, and there is no announced way to move the outfit afterward. If you plan to play Warrior, create the Warrior first. If you are still choosing, the classes tier list and the class system explainer are the pages to read before character creation.

What happens if you miss the window

The pre-order window closes when Early Access opens. XLGAMES has not published a separate cutoff hour, so the safe assumption is that the pre-order package disappears from Steam at launch. The bonus is explicitly a pre-order offer, and no post-launch purchase route has been announced.

If you buy after launch, you still get the game for $29.99. You lose the outfit, not access. The base game does not expire, and Early Access has no announced end date.

Claiming has a separate clock, and XLGAMES has not published a deadline. The bonus can be claimed once Early Access launches; whether an unclaimed bonus can be recovered later is not announced. The practical move is to claim it on launch day, on the character you actually intend to play.

The one confirmed loss is irreversible: once the outfit is claimed on a character, it cannot be moved to another one. Customer support may be able to help with a missed claim, but XLGAMES has not documented that process, so do not rely on it.

Launch-day checklist

  • Decide your class before November 3. Character creation is where the pre-order claim is spent.
  • Pre-order before 23:00 UTC on November 3 if you want the Dawn Pioneer set.
  • Check the install size. The game needs about 100 GB on an SSD; the system requirements page has the full PC spec.
  • Leave time for the download. No pre-load has been announced.
  • Expect automatic region selection. The producer letter says the game now picks your region from your location, and servers were added in Brazil and Singapore. The servers page covers what that means for latency and play windows.
  • Claim the bonus before you start questing. It takes under a minute, and forgetting it until level 20 is how the wrong-character problem happens.

The first two hours guide turns that checklist into a route: which quests to finish, where to spend the first stat and trait points, and which launch-day mistakes cost the most time.

Who should buy at launch

Buy if you want to level through a new MMO world while the population is dense, you like parry-based action combat, and you accept that patches will change your build. The launch window is the best time to find groups for dungeons and field bosses.

Wait if you need a finished endgame, you refuse gender-locked classes, or you want to play on console. The review page has the fuller verdict, and the launch roadmap covers progression after the opening hours.

FAQ

What time does ArcheAge Chronicles Early Access start?

November 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM PST, which is 23:00 UTC and 7:00 AM on November 4 in Beijing. Korea and Japan get it at 8:00 AM on November 4.

Is Early Access live right now?

No. This page was checked on November 2, 2026 at 11:25 UTC, roughly 11.5 hours before the unlock. The status note at the top will change when the servers open.

How much does it cost?

$29.99 in the US Steam store. It is buy-to-play, with no subscription announced. Regional prices differ.

What is the pre-order bonus?

The Dawn Pioneer set: one Dawnbreaker Vanguard outfit for a single class, delivered as a Dawn Pioneer Outfit Chest. It is claimed in-game after launch and bound to the character that claims it.

Can I still get the pre-order outfit after launch?

No post-launch purchase route has been announced. The bonus is described as exclusive to pre-orders, so the safe answer is to pre-order before the November 3 unlock if you want it.

Is there a deadline to claim the outfit?

XLGAMES has not published one. It can be claimed once Early Access launches. Claiming on the character you intend to keep avoids the one problem the official notes confirm: the outfit cannot be transferred.

Is Early Access the full game?

No. It is the Steam Early Access launch, not 1.0. A full release date has not been announced, and the level cap is still unpublished.
